About Course

Every great red teamer knows the first rule of any engagement: Stay legal. This opening module sets the stage for everything that follows. You’ll explore the laws, standards, and moral frameworks that guide real-world operations. You’ll learn what separates a legitimate engagement from a criminal act, how to set up proper authorization, and what to do if something goes wrong. Through real case studies and practical examples, you’ll gain the confidence to operate safely, professionally, and with integrity.

This is the first course in the curriculum and is strongly recommended before moving into operational training.

Legal and ethical mistakes are not recoverable in red team operations. This course ensures you understand authorization, scope, and responsibility before engaging in any technical, physical, or social testing.
